TREATMENT Generation X
A Global PICTURES FILM
He becomes a victim of circumstances.
He did not commit the crime but was framed for killing several children during a tussle
with a gang member over a gun. He is taunted by reoccurring nightmares about his brother's
death, father's absence, and so-called friends in the hood's betrayal. It all takes
place in Brooksville, Georga at The Grand Family Reunion, at Mama B's house. Mama B, Micah
Sr.'s. sister, is a strong force in the Brooks family. She has always worried about her
brother and nephew's whereabouts even though she and her sister (Emma) couldn't stand the
likes of them. The film depicts each of the Brooks Men's experiences, who abused drugs and
alcohol, abetted abortions, participated in gun and gang warfare in school, suicide, and
their struggles to shake, gang activity, driveby shooting, injustices in the courts,
prostitution; parent and child abuse, complacency, racism, divorce, and battery.... where
and when does It all end? The story concludes with the prodigal brother and son,
much like homing pigeons, finding their way back home and coincidentally, during the Grand
Family Reunion Picnic, only because Xaxier invites them. It was both a sad and
joyous occasion to embrace and welcome them back into the family that had never forgotten
them in the first place. Ending on a happy and tearful note is the reaffirmation
that family is very important. No matter how Much you do or how much you may try to
destroy your life, but love continues to be a powerful tie that binds. Despite it all, it
would be Xaxier Who by some mysterious means and determination finds his father's case,
the real murderer, exonerate and clears his father's name.
